Justin Timberlake Starts Man Of The Woods Tour Back Up Again Following Vocal Cords Issue

Justin’s coming back to the stage. Justin announced today on his Instagram that he was forced to reschedule multiple concerts of his due to overworked and “bruised” vocal cords. Today, the star said in the first seconds of his video, “and, we’re back.”

He wrote with hashtags, “See you tomorrow DC! #MOTWTOUR.” In front of what looked to be his backup dancers, Justin confirms that he and the rest of his team are heading back out on the road to finish the remaining dates of his tour.

In the ending of October, Justin revealed that his vocal cords were hurt and he had to cancel his show in New York City. The star added that his vocal cords were “severely bruised.” However, he later said he would be making it up to his loyal fans, and the next show of his would be on his birthday, on the 31st of January.

In December, Timberlake said he still wasn’t quite up to snuff for performing. And to be fair, it’s better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to healing and the human body.

Doctors told Justin it would be best to give his vocal cords several months to relax, that way he could come out in full force at a later date. Last year, Jonah Hill stepped up and said he could easily Justin’s place.

The 35-year-old said, “I have decided to fill in, got JT on his remaining dates.” He went on to say that it’s what people like he and Justin do in their field of individuals with “extraordinary voices.”

In March, Timberlake kicked off his tour in support of his latest album, Man Of The Woods, named after his 3-year-old son with Jessica Biel, Silas. The expedition will run through to the 13th of April.

Despite being relatively successful, Man Of The Woods didn’t perform quite as well with critics, earning a 55/100 score on Metacritic. Billboard, on the other hand, gave it a far better review, saying it was one of the better records of 2018.
